Were You Cursed With a Voodoo Doll? Here's What to Do About It.

Escaping the influence of a Voodoo Doll
So-called "Voodoo dolls" are the the most iconic "evil witchcraft" in pop culture. If you see those in a movie you just know a character is up to no good. A whole post about this sort of witchcraft already exists here

This post today deals in quite another topic -- namely, what to do if you are the victim of a Voodoo doll.

With most magic spells, even if the enchantment was effective, the spell would have to be performed anew to redo its influence once the victim is uncrossed. Ways to achieve this include spirtual uncrossing baths, using a witch bottle, or multi-step curse removing rituals. But, if a practitioner is keeping a voodoo doll of their victim, the doll might easily be re-worked time and again, for as long as the practitioner has it and is interested. This makes it difficult for the victim to fully free themselves of the influence.

The answer to such a conundrum is to fight fire with fire and make your very own uncrossing voodoo doll.

This method works because just as your enemy's doll is permanent, so is your uncrossing doll that neutralizes its work.

Remedy Against Voodoo Dolls

To do this, start with a voodoo doll (homemade or store bought, doesn't matter. You can even use wax figural candles as your voodoo doll -- just don't burn it as a candle if you do this.) Bless it in accord with any of the voodoo doll consecration instructions in this post

When it is prepared, dress the doll with Spellbreaker oil.

Then wrap the doll in white cloth, and either bury it near your house such as in your yard, putting it deep enough you won't have it come up again; or you can keep it in a safe place inside your home where no one will bother it and it won't fall into danger of discovery (everyone's life differs so one person's safe spots might differ from another's.) Once a month, pour a little more Spellbreaker oil on the ground where it's buried or on the doll itself if you're keeping it.

For added power, dress your own head daily with Spellbreaker oil. You can even pour a bit into your shampoo or whatever hairdressing you use. A very simple and traditional spellbreaker oil can be made from rue essential oil or oil that's been infused with rue.

If you want extra strong uncrossing, you can add these steps:

Bathe daily for nine days with Spellbreaker bath salts or soap. Burn Four Winds or Spellbreaker incense as you do so.

Paper-in-Shoe Spells

A popular and very traditional hoodoo spell, often used for any situation where you need to control someone with magic , is the namepaper-in-shoe spell. It's very easy: you write the target's name 3, 7, or 9 times on a paper (depending on intent and who's giving instruction) then fold it up, sometimes after dressing it with oils or powders, then put it in your shoe. This "keeps the person underfoot" or "stomps out the trouble" or "puts pressure on them" or any other number of metaphors. I have had this work several times over the years. In one instance, I was working for a very unpleasant boss, on a short-term job. It was the last day, and I only had about 3 hours of work left on the project; and I wanted him to up my pay for the day since it almost wasn't worth the trip across town for the amount he was paying me, for only 3 hours. He was very reluctant. So I wrote his name 3 times on a 5-dollar bill he'd given me, and dusted it...

Blockbuster Spell

Recently tried this one to some good effect. As I did it, I petitioned Ganesha, but any of those crossroads deities (Mercury, Ellegua, Odin) will be able to help you here. You need: Blockbuster Oil Blockbuster Incense (loose or resin works best for this) Van Van Powder or Oil Gunpowder 2 White, Black or Orange Candles Fabric and Thread to wrap spell remains Offering for Ganesha (candy is a favorite) Do this spell on a Sunday or a Wednesday, or in a Sun or Mercury hour. Begin with your candles. White can be used for anything and is always a good choice. Black candles can be used to blot out problems and to bring destruction of all types, and so are a popular choice in Blockbuster work. Orange is used for opening the way and is another possibility if you are feeling blocked. Whatever colors you choose, take one candle and carve your name (or the name of the person the spell is for) onto it. Then carve on the other candle what it is you want to unblock -- this cou...

Ammonia - A Spiritual Cleansing Agent for Magick

Ammonia is a strong cleansing agent in hoodoo magick, both physically and spiritually. In Edwardian times it was advised as an old home remedy for a nerve tonic (see recipe below.)  "Household ammonia" or "ammonium hydroxide" is a solution of NH3 in water. Household ammonia ranges in concentration from 5 to 10 weight percent ammonia. The Romans called the ammonium chloride deposits they collected from near the Temple of Amun (Greek Ἄμμων Ammon) in ancient Libya 'sal ammoniacus' (salt of Amun) because of proximity to the nearby temple of Amun, the chief god of ancient Thebes. Salts of ammonia have been known from very early times; thus the term Hammoniacus sal appears in the writings of Pliny, although it is not known whether the term is identical with the more modern sal-ammoniac (ammonium chloride). In the form of sal-ammoniac (nushadir) ammonia was important to the Muslim alchemists as early as the 8th century, first mentioned by the arab chemist...

Perfume, Cologne, and Its Use In Hoodoo

The original recipe for cologne was reputedly given to St. Elizabeth of Hungary by an angel -- the concoction was known as "Hungary Water" and was used primarily as a medicine, rather than just a mere fragrance. Charles Godfrey Leland remarked that it therefore was appropriate hoodoo practitioners would use such a substance for feeding their conjure bags and other talismans. The term cologne actually comes from a later preparation, Cologne Water (named for the German city.) The original Cologne Water is a spirit-citrus perfume launched in 1709 by Giovanni Maria Farina (1685–1766), an Italian perfume maker from Santa Maria Maggiore Valle Vigezzo, Italy. In 1708, Farina wrote to his brother Jean Baptiste: "I have found a fragrance that reminds me of an Italian spring morning, of mountain daffodils and orange blossoms after the rain". He named his fragrance Cologne Water, in honour of his new hometown. The Original Cologne Water composed by Farina was used on...

The Intranquil Spirit

(EDIT: Up to date information about the Intranquil Sprit can be found in my book  The Intranquil Spirit , available on Amazon.  This post has some incomplete information which is clarified in the book.) The Intranquility spell is, unfortunately, the first resort of many a rejected lover. In some ways it makes sense -- the more unhappy and forlorn one is about a breakup, the better this idea of making the other partner feel just as much so starts to sound. Unfortunately, this spell is often not well suited to a case. The purpose of the standard Intranquility spell is to have the person be tormented by the spirit until they make contact with you, or whomever the spell is being cast for. This means that if a person is already in good contact with their ex OR if they're one of those people who cannot restrain themselves from initiating contact, then this already is probably not the right spell for that case. If you've had an Intranquility spell cast and you make contac...
